Natalie Bane stepped out onto the now empty balcony. She liked the view when it wasn't obscured by the other 'students' that attended Hogwarts.. That is if that is what you would call them. Most of them were a waste of space and unworthy of breath. But then again there must be Mice to show the separation from Men.
Her dress was long and black, a fur shaw pulled around her shoulders and draping down across the front. She was used to luxury and she wasn't going to give it up to come here. Besides, if worse came to worst well she already had tutors at home so it wasn't like she would miss anything. Hell, they may be willing to teach her something they won't here.
Either way she was wrapped up in the sky - almost missing the faint footsteps coming up from behind her. She didn't turn, however her hand slipped to her wand ready for anything. Natalie wasn't usually one to cast a first spell, however in no way would she hesitate to draw in self defense. Besides it was foolish to gain so much attention before she was even out of Hogwarts. "Someone lost?" She asked casually, waiting for a voice - some sort of recognition to give away the identity of her new found and unwanted company.

Nichole wandered along the corridor aimlessly, not exactly sure where her feet where leading her too. They had a mind of their own, she was sure of it.. yes, they wanted to end her.. she just knew it.. they had been plotting against her since the beginning of her existence. And now! - now they were fulfilling their evil plot by getting her off topic and making her think about them! What fiends! And Nichole had lost track of everything. How far she had come, where exactly she was, what rooms she had passed. Now she would never get out, NEVER! A now Nichole began to run in a pentagons, because pentagons are the only shapes that will protect you from invading aliens.
Nichole looked the same as she did everyday: hair down in a messy manner, school robes on, black shoes, and a clean, make-up free face. Her hazel orbs twinkled, as they always did, and her face shown with the same youth and happiness as it tended to do. A lopsided grin danced across her pale pink lips. Nichole was neither beautiful nor glamorous: just Nichole.
Nichole slowed to a walk after a few minutes, panting, she continued on at a brisk walk, soon breaking into a run. "THEY'RE AFTER ME, I SWEAR! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!" She cried stupidly. "MY FEET! RUN! RUN, AS FAST AS YOU CAN! THEY WILL KILL YOU ALL!" Nichole stopped screaming, because she had run out of air to put into her lungs. She was gasping from running and yelling. Those evil feet. They had gotten the best out of her again. When will justice be served? Nichole heard a voice calling out, since she had just passed an opening that she hadn't really noticed.. anyways, Nichole gasped loudly. "Is.. Is that you?" She asked, looking down at her feet.

[shadow=black,left,300]Alex walked down the dark corridor which the lead to the Balcony putting forward an amazing view, that Alex was in need to see. She was awfully bored and it wasn’t suited to her liking. It wasn’t one of those bored moments were she could simply go take a nap and everything was fine. She needed to do something, and if she didn’t find it soon she just might go insane.
Alex was wearing a black tank top, with skinny jeans. Her long blond hair was down and straightened as usual. A thin layer of eyeliner went around her eyes, and a soft coat of lip gloss had been applied on her pale pink lips. When she finally got to where she wanted to be she heard screaming; someone loosing their feet?
She walked over the balcony and saw one she obviously knew, and another girl she had yet to meet. She rolled her eyes at Nichole, approaching the two girls. “Rather pathetic when you have to act like a moron to entertain yourselves.” Alex said, her voice coming out coolly and almost out of nowhere until she was closer to the girls, and in their presence. She said nothing more, merely looking back and forth. [/shadow]

Ashley, more often than not, had once again found himself unwittingly in the presence of Natalie Bane....or more aptly was about to find himself in her presence. He had been wandering around, what he thought was aimlessly, for about an hour now, nothing particular on his mind, just everyday school stuff (Things like Natalie Bane....). True the two had had more than their share of words and duels, but for some odd reason, or at least odd to him, Ashley found himself still thinking about the lovely miss Bane....a foolish idea he knew, for someone of her lineage and standing would never go for a common half blood like him.
Dressed in a pair of faded blue jeans, red long sleeve tee and his trademark red Converse sneakers, Ashley wandered on down the corridor. His eyes rested on the floor in front of him as he walked and he pulled at his bottom lip, something he usually did when thinking hard, totally missing just who he was about to find himself running into. As he neared the balcony, he heard a soft female voice, something which made him instantly look up because I mean, come on, Ashley was man who appreciated the opposite sex...or at least those who paid enough attention to themselves and didn't let themselves go like so many seemed to around here.
Ashley didn't have to see Natalie's face to know it was her, he could pick her out of any crowd, but the other two girls, the rather plain Jane one and the one who spoke toward Natalie, well...they were unknown. For a moment, Ashley thought about adding himself to the mix, but a wave of sense washed over him (And yes from time to time he does have his moments), telling him to stay put. Natalie could handle herself, this much was common knowledge, so why risk drawing her cold attention to himself when someone else was there to take the brunt of the white queen's anger?

Natalie paid the girl no mind when she started calling out to her own feet and asking them if they were who spoke to her. Instead she just continued gazing out across the dark lawns, the slight reflection of the dying sunlight grasping at the surface of the water, that was as far as the eye could see.
This new girl came and she made a very faint comment - something about acting the fool to entertain yourself or something along those lines. Natalie really didn't cling to every word - as long as she got the majority of it. After all there was no sign given that she needed to cleave to .. her words. And as far as making a fool, well it seemed as if effort wasn't something needed around this school.
She could sit back and ignore them, hoping that for some odd reason that the insane girl would believe her feet suddenly wanted to hit ground zero below them but her luck wasn't at it's best this year and she figured that if she did or said nothing than no one else would either.
So on that note she turned around, her dark eyes lightly landing on ... Alex. Yeah, she may have been a step up from the Hufflepuff but then again that wasn't hard. She had alot to prove before Natalie would believe she was worth recognition. After all she didn't like people falling short of expectations and being in Slytherin, well there were a few traits you had to live up to. "Perhaps it's not an act. Maybe it's the way she copes with the fact that she's a useless Hufflepuff." She quirked her slender eyebrow knowing that others would see this as an insult.. hell she wasn't the one that sorted her and she certainly wasn't the one that passed down the lousy genes she seemed to inherit. "I mean.. after all the house was only made for those that excelled in nothing and did not have a house to fit into." Yes, Miss Bane had heard the sorting hats song when it mentioned who took who during the beginning. Helga Hufflepuff took in all that was left and treated them just the same - meaning left out losers. Boy what a letter to write to your parents. Why.. you may as well be a Squibb.. or Muggle.

As Nichole neared the entrance to the Balcony, she caught onto a few words that the two girls shared. Not at all hurt, Nichole's feet ceased their movement. "Rather pathetic that the rest of us have to put up with the ugliness of YOUR FACE." Nichole retorted, throwing her nose in the air and stomping off in a rather irritated way. Had she stayed for Natalie's comment, she also would have come up with some nonsensical comeback that was written in some sort of hidden language that Nichole shared with herself.
occ // my fellow roleplayers, I apologize for the sanity and length that this post seems to lack.

"Huhhhh" Hermione let out a big sigh after a bigger day. She was so ready to do something fun.Hermione had been in classes or in her house all day long and was hoping to get some freash air atleast once today. She thought about her choices, there were many places at Hogwarts. But, there was only one that she could think of that had memories. Maybe not all good ones, but never the less, memories. Hermione was going to go to the balcony. She was going to be alone, but if there was company it would be okay. Hermione started skipping to the balcony thinking about random stuff.. Then sher started to feel retarted, so she stopped skipping. It had been a horrible day, and she was continueing to have a bad day. Maybe not bad, but certanly not enjoyable. Things had to change for her. And she was the only one who could do it. Oh god, now that I'm not skipping 'off to see the wizzard', I'm superman, going to fight justice and change things to how they should be. "Wow," I need to get a hobby. Hermione made it to the balcony. She saw people and desided to walk over to them. They had not noticed her yet , and she thought she saw someone farmiliar. "Is that.. Heyy Nichole!" She ran over and asked evryone what was up. And, once again, feeling stupid, she hoped that no one would say 'The sky'. This was a day worthy of forgetting.
