Though any normal person would take a left turn now and head towards the kitchens for a snack, our dear sun-haired, sky-eyed Robin wasn't exactly the normal person. She dragged her teeth over her lip a moment as she walked, venturing into the underbelly of the beast - in this case, the beast was the school - the one should would attend until she graduated, in which case she would venture to another school, another life, which would pass too quickly yet again. Rather boring and dreary, but have what you may.
She licked her abused, pale lip quietly, breathless - though she didn't need to breathe anymore. She hadn't needed to in a long while. Her clear blue eyes flashed animally in the dark, as a cat's might, her needs clear. She needed someone. She inhaled sharply - she smelt.. human? She could faintly hear a pulse - oh joy! Dinner!

Amelia wandered down the corridor quietly, chewing gently on the piece of metal that protruded from her lower lip. Gray orbs scanned her surrounding, seeing no one in the corridor. The girl let out a soft, unenthusiastic sigh at the slow, boring life that she had experienced ever since her arrival at Hogwarts. Nothing that sparked Amelia's interest had occurred, not even the slightest prank. Of course, she had only been her a day or two, but she was bored quickly and Amelia wanted nothing more than retreat to her beloved home. She hadn't seen many people today, which wasn't much of an issue to her because most of the people her were stupid, but the occasional company would be very much appreciated. After wandered a bit and not finding a thing to do, the girl had retreated to her dorm, or, was in the process of doing so.
Amelia slipped her pale hands into the pockets of her dark Brand New hoodie, yet another irritated sigh escaping her pale pink lips. The girl flicked her bangs out of her eyes, orbs flashing about once more to find nothing. Why must this corridor be so long? - actually, why were the all so long? Amelia's feet were sore at the end of each day because of these floors, and she was sick of it. She needed to learn how to Appeareate or something. Sick overwhelming feeling of paranoia crossed Amelia, and the girl frowned. Feet ceased their constant shuffle, and Amelia turned her head to look around her, biting her bottom lip slightly.

Oh, it was a human. A slightly agitated sigh rang out through the corridor made of stone, Robin's dead heart leaping some - the hunt always amused her. Faster than the human eye, she made it to the girl, coming to a silent stop behind her. She looked over her back with a slight smile, tilting her head ever so slightly. She had rather nice, stick-staight hair and apparently enjoyed relaxed, comfortable clothes rather than the terribly revealing, constricting outift the school dared to call a uniform. Props.
Robin could hear the slight dash of fear in her as her heart accelerated every so slightly, the girl looking around the hall to make sure she was alone - she wasn't. Unfortunately, Robin wouldn't be the best company right now. When she had disappeared from Hogwarts maybe a year before hand, many things changed. She wasn't so mousish - She wasn't afraid to be who she was - and if someone was domineering enough to overcome her, than she would allow them. She licked her lower lip silently, taking a quiet sniff of the girl, attempting to determine her blood type, but got a nose full of perfume and pleasant-smelling perfume. Although this was lovely, it didn't help to know what the girl liked to smell like. Robin frowned, wondering if she'd whip around like a deer hearing a truck horn. One might suppose it would only be natural - Robin practically appeared out of nowhere, for her fastest dash was about as fast as a bullet, and when she wore all black in the dark, she was just a smear in the scenery.

Amelia could be considered somewhat shy, anti-social; whatever you wanted to call it, and she would have felt stupid calling out to someone that wasn't there. The girl had neither extraordinary senses nor did she had extensions for these senses, she was as oblivious as anyone average person would be in this situation. The girl's frown grew somewhat, eyes narrowing some in annoyance. She was stupid, she did have somewhat of a sixth sense, she knew someone was there.
And poor Amelia was terribly confused as to her actions to follow. Amelia didn't want to continue on, for she was afraid of what may lie beyond where she currently stood, and she also had the sensation that something was quietly stalking her, creeping in the shadows. Amelia gave one more nervous glance about her, this time looking over her shoulder. Amelia unintentionally, unavoidably let out a soft gasp at the girl standing behind her in shock, mouth parted slightly. Amelia blinked a few times, not quite sure what to say .

Robin watched the girl look about annoyedly, a bit flustered. Perhaps she felt silly? Perhaps she could sense every bitty thing, but couldn't pinpoint it quite yet. Robin continued to play the observer, smoothing her black skirt over her thighs some. She had made it herself - it was a-symmetrical, made of floaty black linen with a black silk underskirt. It was highest in the front, just a bit above her pale knees, the back being the longest point - it almost touched the floor. It had bits of black lace sewed about the hem of it, slim black bows hanging off of it in even intervals - she called it her renaissance skirt.
Finally girl finally looked back - she definitely seemed surprised. A smile spread over Robin's pale lips - totally innocent - her bright blue eyes flashing mischieviously. She rose a pretty pale hand, waving a bit. " 'Llo there," she said quietly with a grin, flashing a pair of white fangs. Not much time for chat, Robin had decided. If Amelia ran, it wouldn't matter, she'd be on the ground in a second. She really couldn't avoid this, poor dear."I believe you have something I need," Robin whispered, almost tauntingly, staring intently into the girl's storm-cloud eyes with her clear-sky orbs.

At the girl's little smile, Amelia's eyes flickered to the blonde's fangs and back to face, a short, trembling breath emitting from her throat. It was a rare event, in fact, it had only occurred four times in Amelia's existence - but she was visibly scared. Terrified, in fact, at this girl's presence. Amelia had the horrid feeling that something awful was about to occur, which was highly probable considering the person before her was a hungry vampire. Amelia wanted nothing more than to put a fifty foot wall between her and this girl, but that didn't seem like much of an option at the moment.
At the girl's next comment, Amelia inhaled sharply, pausing before responding hurriedly. " 'fraid I can't be of assistance, I have to go leave...now." Amelia's words held a tint of haste, a bit of anxiety. Amelia tucked her bangs behind her ear with a shaking hand. "Sorry," She apologized most insincerely, not at all sorry that she couldn't stick around. Her eyes lingered on the girl for but a moment, backing away a few steps as she did so, before rounding about and breaking into a run.

Robin watched the gradual appearance of horror in the girl's face, her grin widening just as slowly, growing almost sadistic. She let her hand down to her side, her fingers twitching anxiously - would she run? She listened to her heart as the adrenaline forced it into an insane pulse. The girl's hands were probably cold, her esophogus constricting, making it hard to breathe, hard to speak, hard to scream. Robin smirked, dashing her tongue over her lips in the process. Fight or flight, fight or flight.
She feigned hurt when the girl divulged that she couldn't help, watching her trembling fingers as she smoothed straight hair behind her ear. This girl was adorable with the metal loop in her lip - Robin had always liked lip piercings. It made her think of Jake - Jake? Or Josh - from before. He had snake bites, a girlfriend, and what was left of Robin's heart. Which he didn't bother to do anything with, except perhaps discard. But that was the past, something which she had a lot of. She came to reality as the girl slid back a few steps, grinning instantly.
A chase. Something Robin hadn't had in a while. She watched intently as the girl took a breath, turning, a foot flying forward to carry her out into the dark, the other following it in a second as the girl dashed away - everything seemed in slow motion when you could pick a bullet out of the air. Robin let out a breath, smiling pleasantly to herself - to jog after her or to catch up to her? Mmn, cat and mouse. She had always envisioned herself as something like a cat. In a blink, Robin was just a couple footfalls ahead of the girl, standing starkly in the middle of the hallway.

Sides heavy, breaths coming out in rapid gasps, Amelia ran, somehow finding strength to put one foot in front of the other as she fled away from danger. And that, my children, is called adrenalin, which Amelia seemed to be running short of. Amelia wasn't the most physical person, not fat in the least bit, more toward the scrawny end of the line. Amelia was completely off balanced considering she was shaking from head to toe and she could hardly see a thing in this darned corridor.
Amelia found the girl in front of her once more, stopping dead, blinking incredibly. What was this? Irritated groan emitted from the girl's throat, as she turned back around on her heel. Amelia didn't know how long she could run, nor if it was any use. After all, she was running from someone that didn't seem to put much effort into anything that they were doing.
Soon Amelia's heart felt like it was going to pop out of her chest, she could hear the beat clearly, in almost a haunting way. Her lungs were expanding and shrinking rapidly, they felt as though they were going to burst. Throat burning, Amelia slowed to a halt, bending over her knees, heaving deep breaths. She definitely wasn't an athlete. After a few moments, Amelia straightened up, awaiting the arrivial of the vampiress, realizing that even if it was possible for a person to out run this girl, that person wasn't Amelia.

Robin relaxed against a wall idly, listening to the girl's pounding feet as she ran the opposite way. She was an odd girl, terribly out of shape for a stickly thing as she was. This chase was almost not even worth it, minus the prize of it. The thudding steps slowed to a stop, Robin silently persuing her as she slowed to a stop. She didn't bother with lightning gast nonsense - she simply walked, and rather cattishly at that, her hips swaying to an unheard rythm, one foot placed daintily infront of the other - it was odd how quiet she was in such large boots, outfitted with two-inch high rubber souls and metal insets in the toes and heels, but Robin was a vampiress. She could make just about everything quiet.
And so she caught up, looking over the girl as she pulled herself up from holding her knees. She hoped silently with all her heart the girl didn't vomit - that was repulsing. "Must we persist," she said lightly, swooping up one of the girl's hands, shoving her against a wall, holding her in place easily. She looked into the oncoming storm in the girl's irises, Robin's bright irises flashing some. "It's rather futile, as I'm sure you've come to recognize." Her voice was sugary sweet death, like a milkshake laced with cyanide, cold, fatal, but so inviting. She leaned forward some, not believing in personal space at the moment, looking to the girl's pale neck expectantly.

Amelia's breathing slowed quickly, and her eyes shrunk back to their normal size. Perhaps if she hadn't been so terrified, she could have run farther, because she wasn't that bad of a runner...was she? Sure, Amelia smoked, but she only had for a few months, and damage surely couldn't set in that yearly. Amelia shrugged a bit to herself, drawing her mind back to the current situation of waiting.
Orbs narrowed on the girl in a sharp, cold glare. Man if looks could kill, it wouldn't make a difference, because Robin was already dead, but this didn't stop Amelia's attempt. Amelia wasn't scared anymore, because she had given up on getting away. The whole thing seemed rather useless anyways, because this vampiress would catch up with her. And because of this, Amelia didn't struggle against the girl's hold, simply glared at her in a very unamused way.

Robin caught a glimpse of the girl's expressions, daggers of hatred trying to stab through Robin's rather impenitrable, cold heart. She blinked, caught a bit off guard, biting her lip hard as not to laugh. It was a cute face, the lip ring only adding to it, she smiling some. "S'pose I shouldn't keep you waiting - worry you not, you'll still live." She leant towards the girl's neck. "I noticed you were heading towards the Slytherin commons," she whispered lightly, staring into the wall over the girl's shoulder," isn't it lovely we'll be rooming together..?" Robin's face twisted into a large, sadistic, almost manical grin, her fangs apparent in her white set of teeth.
Just a blink after she had uttered the information, she opened her jaw wide, setting her fangs into the girl's juggular, piercing it ever so slightly. She latched onto the twin puncture wounds, beginning to pull at the steady flow of warm crimson, swallowing what came into her mouth. Her pupils shrank to pinpoints, sky-colored eyes flaring to that of a white, icy color before she squeezed them shurt, nursing at the girl's neck softly. Respect thine prey, Queen Von'Dracul - queen of vampires - had once said to her, though soon after she snapped the poor girl's neck - though Robin had no intention of doing any sort of thing to this lovely donor.

Amelia followed the girl with only mild interest as she moved toward Amelia's rather pale neck. At Robin's only somewhat reassuring words, Amelia smiled sarcastically. "Isn't that wonderful?" Spoke the girl in a harsh whisper. At her next comment about the dorm that the two girls would be sharing, Amelia sighed softly. "Well, its going to be a fun year, then," She replied in an eerily calm voice. "- bunkie." Amelia called the girl with mock enthusiasm.
Amelia had had a major mood swing, from being a complete nerve disaster, to waiting in a bit of an impatient fashion for the vampire to get what she wanted, and leave Amelia alone. When her neck was punctured, Amelia shifted some in a moment of discomfort, but it didn't hurt after the pinpricks had been made. The little color that Amelia had in her face slowly, but steadily drained, and Amelia could feel herself growing weaker.

Robin didn't take much, for humans didn't having much to give. After a minute or two of her leeching, she pulled away, licking her red lips, new vigor spreading through her still heart. She made a quiet noise, something along the lines of 'mmf', quickly dashing her tongue over the wound to catch up a few droplets of the red mess. Vampire saliva had an odd component that healed the punctures they left, and soon the girl's skin made strings, cells looping the other sides of the wounds, pulling them closed and patching up the edges. It was gone in mere seconds.
Robin stood up some, releasing the girl, though keeping her hands near in case she started to fall - victims tended to do that ever now and again. She let out a breath, swallowing hard. "Thank you very much," she said after a moment, looking up at the girl's rather hateful expression with a grateful half smile. "Do you need help back to the dorms or anything, or have you got it?"

Amelia lifted a weary hand to where the small wounds were...or had been? Amelia traced over the spot, gliding over the skin around it but finding nothing. Queer. Amelia felt very light headed at the moment, and her hateful facial expression had been wiped off and replaced with a rather strange one; simply blank. She stared straight ahead of her, her posture slumping. Amelia leaned against the wall, not feeling anything in particular.
It didn't occur to Amelia how weary she actually was. Her body was under going many stages of shock and panic due to blood loss, and her brain seemed to have been cut off in this process. "Your welcome," The white girl answered faintly, a small giggle passing over her lips. At Robin's offer Amelia shook her head. "No...I'm fine...yes...I like pie..." Nonsense words followed her response, to clarify that Amelia had lost it. Amelia began walking slowly, brushing past Robin. "Its so sunny." She commented on the bleak dungeon walls. "Let's pick flowers!" Another giggle escaped Amelia's cold, dry lips. The girl staggered a few more steps, before fainting on the floor, uttering something along the lines of "What...nice...weather we are...having..."

Robin blinked, looking over the girl's blank face, beginning to feel slightly concerned. She smiled meekly at the girl's response, being welcomed, watching her as she leant against the wall. Was she fine...? She.. liked pie? Robin's slim brows elevated, she letting out a breath. Had she taken too much? She observed the girl whose name she had learned to be Amelia begin to wander down the hall. "Oh bollocks," Robin hissed quietly, Amelia's lengthy, dragging foot steps echoing away from her slowly.
"Amelia, darling," Robin called, starting after her. She should take her back to the commons. She followed close as the girl tottered in the opposite direction. As soon as her footing began to give way, Robin was right there, catching her before she hit the cold ground. "I remember my first time, too," she whispered with a kind smile, though the girl was out cold. Thankfully, Robin's strength was a bit extraordinary as well. She swooped poor Amelia off her feet easily, heading off towards the commons. "Let's get you in bed, dearie."
